Banking and Finance have been early adopters on information technologies because money is one of the purest information goods. From the earliest coins to cryptocurrencies; from bills of exchange to collateralized debt obligations; from smoky London cafes to nanosecond trading latencies - the evolution of finance has been a barometer of the evolution of technology.
